Stress and Bioenergy

A lot of research has been carried out on the links between stress and various forms of cancer. The connection is no longer in doubt, but there are a number of proposed mechanisms which have different degrees of corroboration. These include the well- known suppression effect of stress on our immune cells, particularly as our immune systems contain cells that destroy cancerous cells. Another mechanism assigns a direct role to stress in triggering cancer; it involves stress as a trigger to the signalling between cells that work together in tumour growth. Yet another line of study suggests that stress might also reduce the effectiveness of cancer treatments.

We are all aware of other symptoms of stress: raised blood pressure, increased susceptibility to infections, skin conditions etc. These in addition to the lowering of our quality of life due to sleep loss, loss of appetite, libido, etc. and increased irritability in our interactions with others. There are many well-known methods of lowering stress, e.g. meditation, yoga, getting away from it all, walking; conscious steps must be taken to change how we deal with stress.

Bioenergy treatments are especially successful in dealing with stress-related conditions. Clients of Bioenergy for Health almost always remark on the relaxing nature of the treatment, a majority of those that have come claim that their levels of stress have dropped notably even before the four day treatment is finished.

Perhaps it’s not surprising that there is a lot of scepticism around healing methods like the Domancic and Plexus Bio-energy treatments, and other forms of energy treatment. Learn about Bioenergy Healing

In the last year there has been a considerable increase in interest in bio-energy healing in Ireland. This has come about mainly as a result of the well publicised healing of Michael Flatley by Michael O’Doherty followed by the recent publication of O’Doherty’s book, Just Imagine A Life without Illness.In recent months there’s been a stream of queries into Bio-energy for Health about the therapy.

Happy Christmas

Happy Christmas to all. Catherine at Bioenergy for Health is taking a well needed break for Christmas, but is continuing to make appointments for the new year for both clinics,Harold's Cross in Dublin and Barnesmore in Donegal.

Bioenergy Therapy for MS and Parkinson's

A Pioneering Scientist in Human Energy

Dr Valerie Hunt is a world leader in the area of bioenergy. Her work is based on sound scientific research and is acknowledged as such. She is seen as a pioneer, someone who can extend our understanding of the energy relations between the molecular make-up and the workings, (including health), of our bodies. She has taught for many years in medical colleges and universities in the U.S. and elsewhere and is author of 6 books and 25 research articles.

Evidence for Bio-energy

The fact that so many have been healed while receiving bio-energy therapy is not sufficient proof for many that this energy exists, much less that it can be used to heal. And, of course, not everyone will be healed. The normal treatment occurs over four days, but frequently this will need to be repeated also.

However the fact of bio-energy can easily be demonstrated by: photographs of the aurae(luminous radiation)that surround our bodies, by the sensations that the majority of people experience while receiving bio-energy treatment, by the ability of therapists to move (most of) their clients by working on their energy fields.

Research into Bioenergy

So much of our technology and know-how has reached us via military research e.g. the internet. A year ago, a report entitled Army's New PTSD Treatments: Yoga, Reiki 'Bioenergy' by Noah Shachtman appeared in Danger Room, a Wired Blog relating to defence.

“The Army just unveiled a $4 million program to investigate everything from "spiritual ministry, transcendental meditation, [and] yoga" to "bioenergies such as Qi gong, Reiki, [and] distant healing" to mend the psyches of wounded troops.
As many as 17 percent of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans have some form of post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, one congressional study estimates. Nearly 3,300 troops have suffered traumatic brain injury, or TBI, according to statistics assembled last summer.”

Early results from some of this research should soon start to filter out. I am looking forward to a time in the near future when Bioenergy Healing will be accepted as being on a par with traditional medicine.
